This web application is operated by Alchemist Consulting Ltd. T/A Code2Go (“we”, “us”, “our”).
The app is designed to support understanding of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) Code of Practice.
By subscribing to and using the app, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Nature of the service
The app provides guidance, tools, and educational content to support compliance with the ABPI Code.
Important:
- The app is a support tool only
- It does not constitute legal, regulatory, or medical advice
- It does not replace internal company policies, training, or review processes
3. Subscription services
Access to the app is provided on a paid subscription basis.
By subscribing, you agree to:
- Pay the applicable fees
- Provide accurate billing details
Subscriptions are offered on a annual basis.
4. Billing, payment and auto-renewal
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis
- Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled
Auto-renewal reminder:
For annual subscriptions, we will aim to send a reminder email (typically 7–14 days before renewal). You are responsible for keeping your contact details up to date.
- We may change subscription fees with reasonable notice
- We may suspend access if payment fails
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period
- No refunds are provided unless required by law
6. Consumer rights
Where applicable, consumers may have cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
7. Single-user licence (individual subscriptions)
Individual subscriptions are for one named user only.
You must not:
- Share login credentials
- Permit access by others
We may suspend accounts where unauthorised use is suspected.
8. Corporate subscriptions (multi-user access)
Where a subscription is purchased by an organisation:
- Access is limited to the number of users (“seats”) purchased
- Each user must have a unique login
- The organisation is responsible for:
- Managing user access
- Ensuring authorised use
- Compliance with these Terms by its users
We reserve the right to audit usage to ensure compliance with licence terms.
9. Acceptable use
You agree to:
- Use the app lawfully and in accordance with applicable regulations
- Not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access
- Exercise professional judgement when using app outputs
10. No reliance (regulatory and promotional decisions)
The app is not intended to be relied upon as the sole basis for determining Code compliance, for example:
- Determining whether materials or activities are promotional or non-promotional
- Making final compliance decisions under the ABPI Code
- Approving materials for external use
You acknowledge that:
- All compliance decisions must be validated through your organisation’s internal approval processes, including medical, legal, and compliance review where applicable
- We do not accept liability for decisions made based solely on app content
11. Regulatory updates and version control
The ABPI Code and related guidance are subject to change.
While we aim to keep the app up to date:
- We do not guarantee that content reflects the most current version at all times
- There may be delays in updating content following regulatory changes
Users are responsible for:
- Verifying information against the latest official ABPI and Prescription Medicine Code of Practice Authority publications
- Ensuring alignment with current company policies and guidance
12. Intellectual property
All content, tools, and materials within the app are owned by us or our licensors.
You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use the app for internal professional purposes only.
